Animals on board
Only cats and dogs may be taken on-board Skyways flights
Please note that you can not bring animals on the flight to Manchester or Birmingham.
Animals are accepted for transportation in the cabin. Animals are also accepted in the cargo compartment on the Aircraft type Fokker, but not on the Aircraft types Embraer and Jetstream.
If you wish to bring your animal and are travelling on an international flight it is the passenger’s responsibility to secure proper documents for health, immigration and transfer for all countries en route.
It is also always the passenger’s responsibility to provide a suitable container to ensure a safe and comfortable flight for the animal.
You can not bring your animal into the cabin if you are a passengers travelling Last Minute Youth.

Animals transported in the cargo compartment
When the animal is transported in the cargo compartment the crate must be made of fibreglass, metal, rigid plastics or plywood. Welded mesh or wire mesh is not accepted. The floor must be solid and net flooring is not accepted. The animal must be able to stand up, move around and lie down in a natural position. A maximum of one animal per crate is allowed. The maximum total weight allowed for animal + crate is 50 kg. The cost of each crate in the cargo compartment is 200 SEK/ flight and if there are two or more flights the maximum cost is 400 SEK/crate.

Animals transported in the cabin
Only cats and dogs may be transported in the cabin on all Skyways flights (for international flights see information above). You are allowed to bring your animal into the cabin if you are travelling on any Skyways ticket except for Skyways CLICK. If you make your reservation via Skyways web page, and wish to bring an animal, please contact Skyways Reservations after you have completed your reservation and received a booking reference. We recommend that you use a Sherpa Bag, small model, for you dog or cat. The maximum weight for an animal in the cabin is 8 kg. and the maximum size including crate is 45x35x20 cm. The cost is 150 SEK/flight and if there are two or more flights the maximum cost is 300 SEK/crate. Any animal in the cabin is regarded as hand luggage and you are not permitted to bring additional hand baggage on the same flight. Guide dogs and service-dogs may be brought on board at no extra charge, but you still need confirmation from Skyways Reservations.
