Funäsfjällen is perhaps Sweden's finest ski resort with 5 large alpine facilities of which Tänndalen, Ramundberget and Funäsdalsberget are the largest. Overall the area has 38 lifts and 134 runs per ski pass - the highest number in Sweden. The 300 km long track system is considered the world's best, and this together with the Alpine skiing makes it unique.
The villages Bruksvallarna, Fjällnäs, Funäsdalen village, Ljusnedal, Ramundberget, Tänndalen and Tanner are all parts of the Funäsfjällen region. Funäsfjällen has many good areas suitable for children, ranging from green to black runs. There is also great off-piste skiing, heli-skiing and a great fun-park. Perhaps most appealing of all is the lovely natural snow and lofty mountains.
