Known as Sweden’s “Little London” Gothenburg can also be thought of as the country’s main showroom window.

This West Coast events capital is known under many epithets.

Bursting with entertainment and culture and with one of the world’s finest concert halls, where you can choose between a plethora of concerts, theatre, opera and musical productions, Gothenburg is a city that’s easy to enjoy.

Don’t forget to schedule in a trip to the busy port of Feskekörka, which you may wish to follow with some excellent cuisine at one of the city's five-star seafood restaurants or cafés many of which are conveniently located in the famous Avenue. And it goes without saying that a day at the Liseberg amusement park is an absolute must during any visit to Gothenburg.

Together with the Swedish Exhibition Centre, the City of Gothenburg also organises and stages some of the largest and most exciting fairs in the country including the Book Fair, the Boat Show, the Travel Fair and dozens more.
